HEALTH UPDATE: Pacemaker wearers should stay out of pool

As we previously reported a pool patron notified us that their heart device monitoring company noticed some abnormal electrical currents that seemed to coincide when they were at Rock Creek Pool. Since then on Thursday, August 16th our pool contractor checked all the likely possible sources (pool lights and pumps) and determined they are all fully bonded and grounded. We also scheduled a company that specializes in testing to come perform tests on our systems with sensitive equipment. They require the pool be drained below the level of the lights for ideal test conditions. We will do this additional testing after the pool closes for the season.

For the interim, all persons with pacemakers or other electronic health devices should not enter the pool.
