To add your name to the waitlist, complete the form below and submit the $50 non-refundable application fee. You must live within the geographic boundaries served by Rock Creek Pool. Use the map to check that you live within the geographic boundaries or contact Admin@RockCreekPool.com before submitting your application. Applications are subject to verification of eligibility and the application fee is non-refundable if you live outside the boundaries or submit an application on a speculative basis. Be sure to add Admin@RockCreekPool.com to your contacts/safe senders so that you will receive future correspondence. Please keep your account contact information up-to-date so that we are able to contact you when swim privileges become available.
Rock Creek Pool Inc. (RCP) is a non-profit organization owned by 400 Full Equity Members and governed by a 15-person Board of Directors. The Members, as defined in the bylaws, currently have a $1,150 stake in the Corporation with full voting privileges and use of the facilities. Associate Members shall be limited to persons in the immediate family of and residing with the Member. Associate Members retain full use of the facilities.
Be advised that due to high demand there is an extensive waitlist for Equity Membership averaging nine to ten years. Because the Corporation is limited to 400 members, it requires current members to sell their Equity Share before others can be invited to join. The Board has created two categories that allow usage of the facilities while on the waitlist. Waitlist-August Swim, which provides access to the pool from August until mid-September, is usually offered to at least 75 families two to three years after submitting an application. Waitlist-Summer Swim privileges are offered to up to the top 250 families on the waitlist, usually about four to five years after submitting an application. Swim and Dive Team participation is available to Equity Members and Waitlist-Summer Swim families but it is not possible for Waitlist-August Swim because the team seasons end in July.
For the 2023 season, Waitlist-Summer Swim privileges were offered to everyone who applied in 2014 through August 2019. Waitlist-August Swim privileges were offered to the remainder of 2019 applicants, all 2020 applicants, and those who applied through June 2021. These are not precise determinations because each category, like Equity Membership, is dependent upon the movement of others on the waitlist ahead of new applicants. Be advised that if conditions exist, such as Covid, those offered August Swim in one year are not necessarily guaranteed swim privileges in the next season.
